The jury only took a few hours to sentence a Bryan man accused of murder to 75 years behind bars.
Michael Anthony Lopez, 20, was convicted on charges of murder and two counts of burglary of a habitation and issued a $10,000 fine. Prosecutors argued that Lopez stabbed 62-year-old Estainslado Reyes to death in June of last year.
Lopez could have gotten life in prison.
