Not to be outdone by other tailgaters, Aggie Scientists have invented a new way to tailgate. They use a generator, but it doesn't run on gas.

The Ags call it the world's first hydrogen fuel cell powered generator.

Saturday, they ran two televisions, a satellite system and stereo off it.

Inventors say the fuel cell generator is more quiet than gas-powered generators, has no harmful emissions and no odor.

"With any luck, if we can get enough customer feedback, maybe by next football season a system like this might be available to the general public to purchase," said Jeremy Steinshnider.

Current and former A&M College of Science students worked with company Lynntech to develop the generator.
