College Station Police have released a description of the type of mask that was used in an armed robbery of local hotel Friday morning.
Authorities say a black male, wearing a clown mask entered the Homewood Suites hotel early Friday morning, pulled a handgun, took all the money in the cash register, and forced a clerk into a back room.
The mask is white with blue and black streaks above the eye holes. It also has a pink streak across each cheek and red lips.
Another masked man made a similar robbery of a nearby hotel back on July 4th. Some hotel managers feel the robberies are connected and the suspect knew the hotels.
"I think the perpetrator has been in all the hotels because he knows right where to go soon as he comes in the door," said Ron Fulton of the Brazos Valley Lodging Association. "Both places he's gone in the door, gone straight to to the desk cause he's already masked."
