Bryan's city council has decided to continue with the tax increment reinvestment zone for the Burton Creek development.
Tuesday evening, the council appointed a board for the TIRZ, but recommendations are subject to council approval.
Also Tuesday, the council directed staff to explore three options on the proposed justice center.
Those options are to accept the current bid -- which is more than a million over budget -- or reject all bids and scale down the project, or reject the bids and redesign the facility as a police department only.
Current plans have the justice center also housing the municipal court.
