Four more Brazos County locations have been found to have West Nile.
Earlier this summer, a bird found in the 4400 block of FM 1179 in Bryan tested positive for the virus. Now, a batch of mosquitoes collected there have tested positive as well.
Three more spots in College Station are now on the West Nile list. They are the 3000 block of Bolero, the 800 block of Montclair Avenue and the 300 block of Preston Street.
The health department wants residents to remember that although these new locations were found to have West Nile, all of Brazos County is positive for the virus.
