Funeral arrangements are set for a Brazos Valley community volunteer who died of cancer.
Mary Bryant, 56, of College Station passed away Wednesday at her home.
A viewing will be held Monday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Callaway Jones Funeral Home in Bryan.
A graveside service is scheduled for Tuesday at the Bryan Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. with a celebration of life reception immediately following. The reception will be at Aldersgate Methodist Church in College Station.
Bryant was involved in several organizations, including the Muscular Dystrophy Association and Boy Scouts.
Mary worked as a model in New York and helped organize bridal and fashion shows for many organizations.
If you would like to help the family, monetary donations are being accepted at Pebble Creek Country Club in College Station.

I did not know Mary Bryant, but how refreshing it is to read of a selfless lady who truly served others. In light of recent multiple stories of people purporting to serve others while they actually enriched themselves, her story is a breath of fresh air. My sympathy goes to all who were blessed by her life.
