The Texas Rangers are investigating the abduction of a Madison County Sheriff's deputy's wife.
According to Madison County Sheriff Dan Duget, Trish Linebaugh was taken against her will from her home around 2 a.m. Saturday.
Officials say the suspect forced Linebaugh to drive her car down a county road.
After approximately 15 minutes, officials say the suspect got out of the car and told Linebaugh, this was just a warning.
Linebaugh, who was found about a mile from her home, only received a few scrapes and bruises, according to officials.
The suspect is only described as a white man who was wearing a baseball cap.
Texas Ranger, Jim Huggins confirmed he was investigating the abduction.
Trish Linebaugh is the wife of Madison County Sheriff's deputy Ivan Linebaugh.
