Coulson Could Get CSISD Job After Tuesday

The 21-day waiting period is almost up for College Station ISD trustees.

That means longtime CSISD employee Eddie Coulson is just a few days away from being officially named superintendent.

Coulson, who has served as deputy superintendent since 2001, was named the sole finalist for superintendent on July 25.

The mandatory state waiting period of 21 days expires after Tuesday, meaning the board can officially offer Coulson the job.

Trustees meet Tuesday, but there is no meeting posted beyond that.

Coulson would take over for Jimmy Creel. Creel resigned in June after the board placed him on indefinite leave.
