A top leader of a militant Texas splinter group is still behind bars in Brenham.
Vincent Ross, 52, is the vice president of The Republic of Texas. The Fredericksburg resident was arrested Saturday in Washington County following a traffic stop. Ross was charged with Driving without a Drivers License and Failing to Maintain a Single Lane.
Bond has been denied due to outstanding warrants for his arrest in Gillespie County.
