An update to the story of Mark Musumba, the Ugandan native and Texas A&M student who needed the help of the community to get back home to his ill father.
You may remember the 5-K run-walk to help pay for Musumba's trip back to Africa. That trip was a little bit unique, according to United Campus Ministries.
Mark and his pastor were in London when they were caught up in the chaos of the airline terror threat. But we're happy to report that Mark made it back to Uganda.
Even better, there were questions about whether Mark would be able to make it back into the US. But all his credentials are in order, so he will be able to return to A&M.
