It's official -- the baseball Bombers are coming back to Bryan.
Tuesday, Bryan's city council approved a 10-year agreement with Infinity Pro Sports. That deal means the Texas Collegiate League will have a team based in Bryan for their summer league.
The team will play at Travis Field, which will undergo major renovations through Infinity. The squad will either be the Brazos Valley Bombers or the Brazos Bombers.
The games will begin next summer. The TCL is already well established in the Dallas area, but the league is looking to create a second, southern division. Waco, Brenham, Austin and Huntsville have also been mentioned as possible locations.
Teams in the TCL consist of players from major conferences, including the Big XII and SEC.
