A Brazos County Jury sentenced a local teenager Wednesday to 12 years in prison for his involvement in a drive-by shooting.
Frankie Lee Bell plead guilty to two charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
In 2005, Bell was arrested along with 19-year-old Roderick Turner.
Police say Bell opened fire and hit a 15-year-old in the leg.
The bullet narrowly missed another man, but lodged in the sole of his shoe.
In April, Roderick Turner was given 10 years probation.
