Crime Stoppers needs your help putting three crooks involved in a November convenience store burglary in a jail cell.

At 3:45 A.M. Tuesday November 11, 2008 a convenience store in the 3300 block of Finfeather street in Bryan was burglarized .

Surveillance video shows a newer model Chrysler Town and Country minivan pulling into the store's parking lot. Three men get out of it and approached the front of the building. They used crow bars to force their way into the store. Two of the burglars immediately went to the safe where they pulled it out and loaded into the minivan parked outside.

"In this particular burglary it looks like the suspects were pretty well planned. There were at least 4 to 5 involved in this. They cut the power lines to the business and the phone lines. We think they maybe responsible for 4 to 5 other burglaries in Bryan - College Station," said Det. Travis Hines of the Bryan Police Department.

Two of the burglars had they faces and hands covered while the third burglar failed to cover his face and was seen talking on a phone.

He is described as a light skinned black man standing approximately 5'8 to 5'11 feet tall and weighing around 200 to 220 pounds.

If you know anything about this crime called Crime Stoppers at 775-TIPS.

Remember you don't give your name when you contact Crime Stoppers and you could earn a cash reward of up to $1,000.

You know what I can't believe the police are giving some of this info out. Now how many idiots are going to try this. The sad fact most of they techniques used will work, On most security measures. Lucky police left out a few other items we use in our Bryan business to stop them from having a fully successful break in. If the police are going to give this info out maybe they should charge for the lessons. They should write a book CRIME for dummies sell it and help finance some of their officers.

I really liked the Spongebob Squarepants cartoon playing on the TV behind them. Spongebob dancing to the Sheriff was a nice touch!

The key stone cops of Bryan did not do one thing with this video for almost two months. It's no wonder Bryan is a crime safe city. Pull the cell Tower records for this area. Only a few people in not just one will be on a cell phone at 3:45AM on west Bryan. Telling everybody that they cut the power and phone lines is a bad thing to say. Most criminals are idots. I will not go into anymore details other than to say BPD why do you give How to instuactions on breaking in homes and businesses with alarms. It is clear the video was on a battery back up like the one I use.

The officer is quoted as saying "In this particular burglary it looks like the suspects were pretty well planned." The suspects were PREPARED, not planned. The burglary was PLANNED.
