It does not appear alcohol played a factor in the weekend death of a Texas A&M student run over by a train, according to College Station police.

Police say that finding is based on information from witnesses.

Police say they are still waiting for toxicology reports on Robert Walker Best, 23, but those will only be released with his parent's approval.

According to police, Best and some of his friends were attempting to board a moving train near George Bush Drive and Wellborn Road early Saturday morning.

Best slipped and fell underneath the train. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
