Misti Dawn Kennair, who’s also known as Misti Dawn Richards, 30, of Temple, was in the Bell County Jail Wednesday charged with sexual assault, enticing a child and possession of dangerous drugs in an incident involving a 16-year-old boy who told officers on Jan. 6 “he had engaged in sexual contact” with a 30-year-old woman.
Officers arrested Kennair the next day after they received information that the teenager and the woman planned to leave the area.
They found her around 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 7 driving in the area of the teenager’s residence and arrested her on an outstanding warrant issued by another law enforcement agency in an unrelated case, police said Wednesday.
During a search of the car, officers discovered prescription pills for which Kennair had no prescription, police said.
Her bond is set at $300,000.
