It took two tries, but a jury come back with a punishment for one of the Burton State Bank robbers.
Jordy Basey was sentenced to 15 years in prison and a $5,000 fine. The 20-year-old Burton resident was found guilty in March, but the jury couldn't reach a verdict on the punishment at that time.
This time, it took the jury 90 minutes to punish Basey for the January 2005 crime. Basey jumped the bank counter and took around $6,000. He was captured at a home near Round Rock.
A second robbery took place this past June. Authorities are still looking for a suspect in that case.
