Authorities are looking for a man and a woman in connection with at least two home-invasion robberies Sunday night in Kosse in Limestone County.
Kosse police say the man, who’s from Mexia, and the woman, who’s from Kosse, were knocking on doors Sunday night asking to borrow money or use the phone.
At one home, a resident answered the door and let the woman in.
As she asked to borrow money, her male accomplice followed her into the home.
He attacked the resident after the man told the pair he had no money.
The two suspects then ransacked the home in search of cash.
At a second home, the woman knocked on the door and asked to use the phone.
The resident slammed the door closed, but the two suspects broke in and tried to rob the man at gunpoint.
They also assaulted the residents, police said.
The two suspects may also be responsible for a home burglary Sunday night, police said.
