A grass fire off near the Navasota River kept firefighters busy Saturday night. Few details are known about the fire, which was on private property near Clear Lake Road in east Brazos County.

A grass fire off near the Navasota River kept firefighters busy Saturday night.
Few details are known about the fire, which was on private property near Clear Lake Road in east Brazos County. Units from Brazos County, along with Kurten's firefighters were on the scene of the fire, which started in the early evening hours.
It was in a very forested portion of the county, right on the Brazos - Grimes County line.
