A fight at a Burleson County rodeo has left a teenager in serious condition.
According to Burleson County Sheriff's officials, the incident happened late Saturday night on F.M. 60 near Park Road 4 in Lyons.
Sheriff Dale Stroud said the fight broke out between two groups outside the rodeo, allegedly over a set of spurs.
A 16-year-old Hispanic male was stabbed during the incident.
He was taken to Trinity Medical Center in Brenham for a punctured liver and was listed in stable condition Monday afternoon.
Sheriff's investigators are interviewing witnesses, but no arrests have been made.
