A Bedias man is behind bars after he shot and killed his neighbor at a Conroe fast food restaurant, according to Conroe police.
Nathan Strong, 25, of Bedias was shot in the chest and head Friday night at a Kentucky Fried Chicken on Loop 336 in Conroe.
Kevin Dewayne Jones, also of Bedias, was arrested and charged with murder.
Police said the two men were friends and had gone to the restaurant together to pick up their wives, who were working there.
According to police, Strong and his wife got into an argument in the parking lot.
Jones pulled a shotgun from the trunk of his car and fired two rounds in the air, police said.
Strong went back inside the restaurant and continued arguing with his wife. Jones also went inside, fired a round through the drive-through, and then shot Strong twice, police said.
Strong was pronounced dead at the scene.
Jones is being held at the Montgomery County jail on murder charges.
