A pair of College Station pools now have a clean bill of health.
Tests run on the waters at Adamson Lagoon and Thomas Park show no sign of a microorganism that forced the pools to close. The pools were tested after at least four people developed intestinal problems as a result.
Though the pool season is winding down, both Adamson Lagoon and Thomas Park are available for private pool rentals through the Parks and Recreation Department.
All other College Station city pools tests were negative for cryptosporidium, which is usually transmitted through feces. The city had to spend $4,500 on tests alone, along with paying personnel to deep clean both locations.
