A Brenham Company will be the builder behind Bryan's new middle school. The plans were all approved Thursday for Collier Construction to take on the 20+ million dollar project.
The final price isn't solidified yet. Thursday school administrators picked out almost 90 things that could be 'value engineered'. The district says making those cuts could save more than $700 thousand dollars on the facility.
Davila Middle School will hold more 925 students when it opens in Fall, 2008. The school will be built where Highway 6 splits on the northside of Bryan.
