One of the nation's "First Sons" made a plea for people to adopt, just as he was adopted years ago.
Talk show host and author Michael Reagan, the son of Ronald Reagan, was the keynote speaker for Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach's fundraiser Tuesday evening. Reagan used the time to tell stories about his adoption into what became one of the nation's most beloved families, and all the ups and downs of the experience.
"To bring those kind of stories in, to have an understanding of what a child goes through who is adopted, what we might miss and what we might need gives them more information to raise children that just want a loving home," Reagan said.
Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach provides councelling and support services to see that children are raised in stable, ready homes.
