Police: Shooting Suspects Still on the Run

By  |

Huntsville law enforcement are asking for your help in finding two suspects on the run.

They were the target of a massive manhunt Tuesday, following a reported carjacking in Trinity.

Authorities say the suspects should be considered armed and dangerous. They're believed to be the same two who earlier robbed and shot a Trinity resident.

Trinity Police say the suspects stole the victim's 2004 green Dodge pickup. After a chase with a Walker County constable, the truck was abandoned at a Huntsville apartment complex around 1 p.m. Tuesday.

A manhunt was immediately launched with officers on the ground and a DPS helicopter searching from the air. Three schools in the vicinity were put on lock down until school was out.

As of Wednesday, the search for the suspects has turned up empty.

If you have any information call Walker County Dispatch at 936-435-8001 or the Trinity Police Department at 936-594-2505.
