Evidence Left at Hit and Run Scene

Preliminary autopsy results released Monday confirmed that a Bryan man was killed after being struck with a vehicle on Sandy Point Road.

The body of Raymond Chambers, 53, was found in a ditch across from the Juvenile Correction Center at approximately 7 a.m. Sunday.
Police said someone hit Chambers and then fled the scene.

A chrome mirror was found at the scene and is believed to have come from the suspect's car.

According to investigators, the vehicle that struck Chambers is one of the following: a 1994-2002 model half ton 2-wheel drive Chevrolet or a 1994-2000 model 4-wheel drive Chevrolet with a chrome grill.

The suspect's vehicle should have damage to its front left side.
