An A&M Consolidated graduate and former Tiger football player has been laid to rest.
Hundreds of Ed King's friends and family members remembered him at a funeral service at Central Baptist Church Wednesday morning.
18-year-old King was voted "All-Around Class Favorite" by his senior class, and was currently attending Blinn College.
Wednesday, his former teammates, the 2005 A&M Consolidated High School Football Team served as honorary pallbearers.
King was killed in a car accident Friday on Highway 6 along with 17-year-old Sarah Nichols and 18-year-old Bryson Thomson, both Bryan High graduates.
The funeral for Sarah Nichols will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday at Shiloh Baptist Church in Bryan. Nichols was attending Prairie View A&M University.
The funeral for Bryson Thompson is set for Friday at 11 a.m. at the New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in Bryan. Thompson was also attending Prairie View A&M University.
Augustin Hernandez, 32, of Deer Park also died in Friday's accident.
Two other people involved in the accident were injured and released.
One person walked away unharmed.
