A gag order has been issued in the case of the 13-year-old boy who is accused of committing several sexual assaults in Washington County.
On Wednesday, Washington County Judge Matthew Reue put all attorneys involved in the case under a gag order.
According to authorities, the 13-year-old boy molested as many as 10 children between the ages of 5 and 9.
Authorities say the assaults all took place at a mobile home park in Chappell Hill.
The boy was cited after allegations surfaced in August, and he spent several weeks in a juvenile facility before appearing in court.
The boy has not been officially charged. On Friday, Washington County Judge, Matthew Reue, released the boy to an area youth ranch where he'll be under supervision for the remainder of the investigation.
Assistant County Attorney Scott Ballard had asked for the boy to remain in custody.
The families of the alleged victims have spoken out against the judge's decision.
