A Bryan High graduate killed September 15 on Highway 6 was laid to rest Thursday. Hundreds celebrated the life of Sarah Nichols, 17, during a morning service at Shiloh Baptist Church.
Nichols was a member of the Bryan High Gospel Choir and served as an athletic trainer. She was attending Prairie View A&M University when she was killed in a car accident along with three other people.
One of those, A&M Consolidated graduate and former Tiger football player Ed King was buried Wednesday. The funeral service for the third victim, Bryson Thompson, is set for Friday at 11 a.m. at the New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in Bryan. Thompson was also attending Prairie View A&M University.
Augustin Hernandez, 32, of Deer Park also died in the accident. Two others were injured and released.
