There's a major break in the case of a shooting and carjacking that happened in Trinity. Police said Thursday that four suspects were involved in a September 12 armed robbery.
As of Thursday, one has been arrested, another has a warrant for his arrest and two are still on the run. The person in custody is Trinity resident Kevin Grays, 24, who was arrested Wednesday after making a court appearance in Groveton on an unrelated charge. Grays is charged with aggravated robbery.
Trinity Police Chief Lynn Gentry says a warrant has also been issued for another Trinity resident. The remaining two suspects are still at large. The victim in the shooting is recovering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
