The Robertson County Sheriff's Office has released the name of a woman stabbed to death on Saturday night.

Angel Williams of Brazos County was killed when she was stabbed several times. The 43-year old woman was attending the Glover's Rodeo that was being held on the Robertson County Fairgrounds near Hearne off FM 485. County sheriff officials say Williams was involved in an altercation with another person on the fairgrounds when the stabbing occurred.

It's still unclear what started the fight. Reports say during the fight, a knife was pulled. Both the victim and the individual she was fighting with suffered cuts to their bodies, with Williams' injuries being fatal.

It took several days for the victim's name to be released. The Robertson County Sheriff's office had to locate and notify her family. Officials also had to wait for a formal cause of death. Angel Williams' body was taken to Dallas for an autopsy.

On Thursday, Robertson County Sheriff Gerald Yezak said there had been no arrests made in connection to Williams' death. Yezak said a grand jury was being convened to determined if there was enough evidence to file charges.
