Queen Walker, a former Brazos County employee, will spend 120 days behind bars.
Friday she paid $100,000 as part of her punishment.
Walker was found guilty in May for embezzling hundreds of thousands of dollars from the district attorney's office.
Friday, 361st District Judge Steve Smith, ordered Walker to appear for transport to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice on October 1, no later than 5 p.m.
After Walker spends 120 days in prison, Smith will consider her for probation.
If Walker did not pay the $100,000, she would have spent 8 years in prison.
She still owes about $108,000 in restitution.
