ALVARADO, Texas (AP) - A two-year-old boy has been found about a
mile from his home Sunday -- nearly three days after he was reported
Authorities say a helicopter pilot doing his final search sweep of the day spotted Kevin Brown drinking water from a stock tank.
Authorities say he was ill and covered with scratches and ant bites, but was otherwise unharmed.
The boy disappeared Thursday evening while playing with his four-year-old brother in the front yard of their mobile home.
The older brother went inside after being bitten by ants. When his parents came outside to get Kevin, he was gone.
The ensuing search was led by deputies with the Johnson County
Sheriff's Department, the Texas Rangers, the FBI and included
helicopters, dogs and about 40 volunteers.
Brown is being treated at a hospital in Cleburne.
