A former Texas A&M Corps of Cadet convicted of sexual assault was sentenced Friday to 18 years in prison.
The same jury found Elton Yarbrough guilty Thursday of raping a fellow Texas A&M student in 2004.
The woman testified the 23-year-old Palestine man sexually assaulted her when she was passed out from drinking.
During the course of the trial, four other women testified Yarbrough sexually assaulted them.
He never took the stand in his own defense.
Yarbrough was already under indictment for a separate sexual assault charge when he was arrested for this incident in 2004.
Yarbrough faced up to 20 years in prison.
