Brazos County Commissioners will once again consider the burn ban this week.
Commissioners lifted the ban last week after some much-needed rain in the area, but said the ban would stay on future agendas until more rain reduced the wildfire concern.
Since the rain more than a week ago, no measureable rain has fallen in Brazos County.
Violating the burn ban is a Class-C misdemeanor and could result in a fine of up to $500.
