A somewhat controversial creek in south College Station is getting a mini face lift.
Early in September, we told you about a group of condo owners who were worried the creek behind their complex on Longmire was a West Nile breeding ground.
Thursday, the city dredged the creek to make the water flow better. But according to one city official, they can only do so much. Within the same complex, there is another group of owners wanting to keep the creek in its natural state.
The drainage foreman says the city will make the creek as healthy as possible for the residents.
