The last day for registering to vote for the 2006 November General Election is fast approaching.
Tuesday, October 10, is the last day you can register to vote.
Applications must be postmarked or hand-delivered to your county's voter registration official.
To be eligible to register in Texas, you must: be a U.S. citizen; be a resident of the county; be 18 years old (you may register at 17 years and 10 months); not a convicted felon (unless a person's sentence is completed, including any probation or parole); and not be declared mentally incapacitated by a court of law.
Election day is November 7th.
To find your county's voter registration official, go to the Texas Secretary of State's website.
Upload your photo, with a caption of your reason to smile, then watch the last half hour of BVTM from 6:30A - 7A Monday mornings to see if your photo makes it.
