Time is running out for people who haven't paid their outstanding warrants in the Brazos Valley.
Starting Friday, law enforcement agencies from seven area counties will join forces in a warrant round up.
Anyone with outstanding tickets have until Friday to pay without additional penalties, otherwise they will be arrested.
The counties involved in the joint effort include Austin, Burleson, Colorado, Lee, Robertson, Waller and Washington counties. Also, the cities of Brenham, Bellville, Lexington, and Waller will be participating in the round up.
"Beginning October 13, law enforcement agencies will concentrate their efforts to actively search for people with outstanding warrants in those counties. Those named in the warrants can and will be arrested at their home, place of business, or wherever the officers find them, " said Brenham City Marshal, Larry Thomas.
