New allegations against a Brazos County District court judge have forced the delay of a formal hearing. The State Commission on Judicial Conduct postponed proceedings after receiving additional complaints against Judge Rick Davis.

The panel refused to reveal the nature of the complaints or who filed them. The Commission says the postponement is needed to investigate the allegations and allow Davis time to respond.

Last month, Davis was charged with improperly attacking the D-A's office through a personal web site. He's also accused of inappropriate interference with a grand jury.
