College Station police are awaiting the arrival of Louisiana authorities after the arrest of a murder suspect Friday.
According to law enforcement officials out of Alexandria, they plan on arriving in College Station Sunday to extradite 20-year-old Charles Keys Junior, who is wanted in a murder and carjacking last weekend in Louisiana.
Keys was arrested Friday when College Station police tracked him down to the Taos Apartments. He tried to flee the scene with two small children, rammed a police cruiser and was taken into custody.
Authorities in Alexandria say they are not expecting extradition to be waived.
