If there's an unpaid fine on your record, you get a free pass on warrant fees for the next two weeks in Brazos County and College Station courts.
That's because the College Station Municipal Court and Brazos County Justice of the Peace Courts are participating in a warrant amnesty period. The amnesty period begins Monday and runs until October 27.
If you have an unpaid fine in College Station and need more information, you can call the municipal court at 764-3683.
For information in the county, call the Justice of the Peace court to which you were told to report.
After the amnesty period, a warrant roundup period begins, meaning authorities will begin arresting those with outstanding warrants.
This is for College Station and Brazos County only. Bryan will participate in a statewide amnesty period in the spring.
