A College Station street near a busy intersection is shutting down Monday, thanks to Texas Avenue construction.

Work crews will close Valley View Drive at Texas Monday.

That's just a block north of Texas Avenue and F.M. 2818 in College Station.

Valley View will be shut down from 7 a.m., Monday to some time Friday afternoon.

It's all part of the Texas Avenue widening project.
