College Station Police and Brazos County Crime Stoppers are looking for a man they believe attacked a woman with a hammer.
A warrant has been issued for 22-year-old LaBrandon Jarrell Searcy. He is described as a black male, 5'9" and 190 lbs. He has a tattoo of "Dino" on his right arm and a dollar sign on his left arm.
According to College Station Police, Searcy forced his way into the mother of his child's apartment and attacked her with a hammer. The woman was treated at the College Station Medical Center and released.
Searcy is wanted on a number of charges, including burglary of a habitation with intent to commit another felony, aggravated assault in retaliation, and violation of a protective order by committing assault or stalking. Burglary of a habitation with intent to commit another felony and aggravated assault in retaliation are both first degree felonies punishable by five to 99 years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine. Violation of a protective order by committing assault or stalking is a third degree felony punishable by two to ten years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine.
