Warrant Out for Suspect in Bryan Armed Robberies

Bryan Police may be on their way to a break-through in the armed robberies spree.

A warrant has been issued in connection with the sixth convenience store crime. Marcus Ray is currently at-large. The 18-year-old Bryan resident is wanted on aggravated robbery charges.

Ray is believed to have been involved in the second armed robbery last Thursday, which happened at the Handi Stop on North Texas Avenue. At the time, authorities said it was possible those same individuals were also involved in the earlier robbery at Nick's on Richard Street. However, the warrant for Ray was only issued in connection with the Handi Stop crime.

If you have any information concerning Ray's whereabouts, call Crime Stoppers or Bryan Police. The usual $1,000 reward from Crime Stoppers is being offered, but in addition, the Brazos Business Association is offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of individuals involved in the spree.
