To make the Bryan Police Department's Tuesday even bigger, the group is one step away from being accredited.
Back in August, a group of assessors from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies was in town to review the department. Tuesday, BPD got word that those assessors will recommend that Bryan be accredited, with the final decision coming in at a conference next month.

The news came the same day BPD broke ground on their new justice center.
