Bobbie Ray Tates is accused of shooting his wife, Carolyn, back on August 25. Carolyn Tates died Wednesday night at St. Joseph as an apparent result of her gunshot wound.
Witnesses told police Mr. Tates shot his wife in the side and fled their home on Trant Street. The 53-year-old was arrested minutes later at another residence.
