A stolen car from Bryan turned up in College Station, but before being arrested, the two men in the car added hit and run to their wrap sheet.
Michael Pearson and Logan Larue were taken into custody Tuesday. Authorities say they and the stolen car were originally spotted at Post Oak Mall, but the two apparently spotted police and fled the scene.
Instead of chasing, police tracked the car through citizen reports and by other officers in the city. The stolen vehicle struck a motorist at Holleman and Texas, but the two were later arrested near Los Cucos restaurant.
Pearson has been charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, evading in a vehicle, along with failure to stop and leave information after an accident. Larue faces a charge of failure to identify to a police officer.
