Two years after a Hunstville man was shot in his home, a jury found the murder suspect guilty. Trent Deray Archie will receive his punishment in about two months.
Police say Archie shot 32-year-old Anthony Williams in his home. Williams died from that wound.
The shot actually came through a window of the house on Avenue M. The murder conviction came down Thursday after a unanimous vote from the jury.
The Walker County Sheriff's department says this was a difficult case and that is part of the reason the conviction took two years.
