Police say two Central Texas high school students have been charged with conspiracy to commit capital murder after authorities uncovered what they call a "violent and deadly" school attack plot.
The boys attended Round Rock's McNeil High School. Their names have not been released.
Authorities won't discuss specifics of the students' plan.
They won't say how police and school officials learned of the plot, but say they were fortunate to discover it this early.
McNeil High School has about 27-hundred students and 200 staff members.
A letter has been sent to parents explaining what happened.
