The long arm of the law reached all the way to Mexico to bring home a Bryan murder suspect. A three year extradition process ended Wednesday when Bryan police took custody of Juan Delira Martinez as he stepped off a plane at a Houston airport.
Authorities say Martinez fled to Mexico following the 2002 shooting of Gerardo Silva in Bryan. A year later, Martinez was arrested for the murder by Mexican authorities, but red tape delayed his return. He is charged with first degree murder.
