A simple report of an overdue U-Haul truck led to a drug arrest in College Station.
The truck was tracked down at the Military Depot store where Kevin Fraser was inside. Authorities say the clerk told them Fraser had said he had a gun and threatened to use it.
When police got to Fraser, he resisted, and a crack pipe, not a gun, fell out of his pocket. The 35-year-old reportedly tried to eat the coke, but wasn't able to.
Fraser had also apparently tried to swipe some clothes from the store. He was arrested for those crimes, plus some outstanding warrants in Bryan.
